We all know (or should know) that Twitter has become a force to be reckoned within our business networking.  But the question always remains, can it work for me?  Can I really use it to make money or expand my company?

Stephanie and I are excited to welcome this the DFWSMM’s month’s special guest, Ricardo Guerrero, former social media strategist for Dell Computers and now with Stwittergy, who will speak about Twitter strategies, metrics and marketing!

Ricardo is the founder and CEO of Stwittergy (@STWITT3RGY) and an award-winning social media marketer. As principal at Stwittergy, he provides Twitter strategy, metrics and analysis, and Social Media consulting services and is developing a Twitter follower analytics, grouping, measurement, and communication tool to help businesses cultivate relationships with their key followers more effectively.

If you have been following companies on Twitter then you likely have heard of the success of Dell Computers on Twitter.

Ricardo created the majority of Dell’s corporate Twitter accounts and established the core strategy for Dell’s Twitter presence. By December 2009, Dell had generated over $6.5M in total sales via Twitter, particularly from the @DellOutlet Twitter program, which won an Award of Excellence from the Society for New Communication Research . For Dell Latin America, he created Twitter accounts for every country as well as several highly successful Facebook pages.

Stephanie and I recommend that you schedule some time on Monday evening June 21 to hear how all of this actually happened.  Just head out to our Meetup page and if you aren’t a member, please join and RSVP before all seats are gone. I guarantee this will be a meeting you do not want to miss.

See you on Monday!!
